OTTAWA -- Lucky Seven for the Pittsburgh Penguins put a dent in the Ottawa Senators playoff hopes. Tomas Vokoun made 34 saves in collecting his 300th career win Monday as the Penguins defeated the Senators 3-1 for their seventh straight victory, dropping Ottawa into eighth place in the Eastern Conference. "They were better than we were from start to finish," Senators coach Paul MacLean said bluntly. "They were harder at the nets ... at both nets than we were and executed way better than we did." Dustin Jeffrey, with a goal and an assist, Jarome Iginla and Tyler Kennedy scored for Pittsburgh (35-10-0), which got two assists from Brenden Morrow. Penguins coach Dan Bylsma gave credit to his 36-year-old backup goalies milestone performance. "The numbers are significant. I think (Vokoun is) the 28th guy to get to 300 wins and those are very impressive numbers as a goaltender. I thought he was very good in the net tonight and he was strong," said Bylsma, who also reached a milestone with his 200th NHL victory. "When you look at career wins for coaches, Im not sure where 200 wins is. Its a long way to go to some of the other good coaches, but certainly Im happy to have gotten it and I got the puck." Penguins forward Matt Cooke also had an assist in his first game against Ottawa since his skate blade sliced the Achilles tendon of Senators star defenceman Erik Karlsson on Feb 13. Karlsson was expected to miss the rest of the season following surgery, but the defending Norris Trophy winner is back practising and could return to the Ottawa lineup soon. Patrick Wiercioch had the only goal for the Senators (23-16-6), who have dropped two straight. Craig Anderson stopped 21 shots in taking the loss. Ottawa started the night seventh in the conference and could have leapt over the sixth-place New York Islanders. Instead the Senators are now eighth, tied on points with the seventh-place New York Rangers. The Penguins, who have already clinched first overall in the Eastern Conference, were without the likes of Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang, among others, because of injuries and illness. Penguins No. 1 goalie Marc-Andre Fleury was back in Pittsburgh with his wife expecting their first child. "I dont know why we started that way. We werent taking them lightly," Senators defenceman Marc Methot said. "Were well aware (Pittsburgh) has a deep hockey squad, despite all their injuries. They capitalized on a couple of opportunities and that was the difference." On top off falling back to eighth, the Senators didnt get any help on the out-of-town scoreboard as Winnipeg defeated the Buffalo Sabres 2-1. The ninth-place Jets now trail the Senators and Rangers by just a single point, but both New York and Ottawa have a game in hand. Winnipeg plays at Washington on Tuesday night, while the Rangers visit Florida. The Senators are off until Thursdays road game against the Capitals. Although there was talk of revenge on Cooke for the Karlsson injury, not much came of it other than his refusal to fight Ottawas Chris Neil in the opening minutes. The only rough treatment Cooke received was booing from fans every time he touched the puck. "Were leaving here with two points and putting pressure on Chicago for first overall. Im not even (thinking) about (the Karlsson injury) anymore," said Cooke, who added hes glad the game has come and gone. "It was a freak accident and there was nothing I could have done to change it. Its an unfortunate part of this game. Im happy hes having a great recovery and hopefully hes playing soon." The Penguins jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead midway through the first period on Monday. Jeffrey scored his third of the season off a one-timer at 6:15 following a cross-ice pass from Morrow, who then fed Iginla for his 13th of the campaign at 10:28. Weircoch got Ottawa on the board thanks to a power-play goal at 7:18 of the third for his fifth of the season, but Kennedy put it away with his sixth of the campaign with 2:34 left in regulation off a nice feed from Cooke. Following a penalty-filled opening period, the Senators started the second with fresh ice and nearly a full two minutes of power-play time but were unable to register a single shot on Vokoun, who was playing in his 700th career game Ottawa has had 85 shots in the last two games, including Saturdays 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but has just two goals to show for it. "We need more from the whole team, and its not like a whole bunch more," MacLean said. "We just need a little bit more, and it has to be from everybody." Notes: The Penguins were first in the NHL with 3.34 goals per game scored heading into Monday. The Senators were second in goals against allowing just 2.09 per game, just slightly more than the Chicago Blackhawks. ... The Penguins (19-0-0) are one of just three teams (N.Y. Rangers, Columbus Blue Jackets) that have not lost a game this season when leading after two periods. ... The Penguins are 22-3-0 against the seven other Eastern Conference teams currently occupying a playoff position. ... Newcastle manager Alan Pardew had been under pressure with his injury-hit team winning only one league match since he signed an eight-year contract extension in late September to sit just two points above the relegation zone. COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A ball that rattled around the rim and bounced out separated Michigan from its first No. 1 ranking in more than 20 years. Point guard Trey Burkes stepback jumper with 17 seconds went down, then came out, leaving No. 2 Michigan on the wrong side of a 56-53 loss to rival and 15th-ranked Ohio State on Sunday. After No. 1 Duke lost to North Carolina State a day earlier, the Wolverines were in prime position to ascend to No. 1 for the first time since November 1992. Instead, they went home with their first loss, also depriving them of the best start in school history. "Some go in and some dont," said Burke, a sophomore who just happens to be from Columbus and is friends with several of the Buckeyes. "I thought it was going in. It looked good. I think it went in and then came out." Michigan (16-1, 3-1 Big Ten) trailed 52-50 and had the ball as the seconds sifted away. Everyone in a hoarse, capacity crowd of 18,809 knew that Burke, a star at Columbus Northland High School where he was a teammate of former Buckeye Jared Sullinger, would likely take the last shot. Aaron Craft -- whom Michigan coach John Beilein said was as good as any defender he had ever seen -- prevented Burke from driving. His path blocked, Burke jumped back and then launched the shot. "We were up two, so that makes it a little more challenging for me," said Craft, selected as the Big Tens top defender a year ago. "Fortunately enough for me, that shot he took rimmed in and out. I kind of turned around (and saw) we grabbed the rebound." Lenzelle Smith Jr. grabbed the rebound. A moment later he was fouled again and hit two free throws for breathing room. Craft, who had struggled on offence most of the season, then made two more foul shots to more than offset Burkes circus 3-pointer with a second left. The Buckeyes had done most of their offensive damage early, following Burkes opening 3-pointer with a 16-0 run that was started and ended with baskets by Deshaun Thomas, who led the Buckeyes (13-3, 3-1) with 20 points. From there on, it was just a matter of whether Ohio State -- which had blown a late lead at Duke in November -- could hold off the Wolverines, who came in averaging 81 points a game with four starters in double figures.dddddddddddd Burke led Michigan, which was trying to exceed the 16-0 start of the 1985-86 team, with 15 points. Tim Hardaway Jr. added 12. Down 21 points in the first half, Michigan kept chipping away. The Wolverines switched defences, causing the Buckeyes problems with matchup zones. Eventually, Glenn Robinson III flipped in a 3-pointer from the right wing to tie it at 46 with just under 6 minutes left. The Buckeyes regained some momentum when Shannon Scott fed post player Evan Ravenel for a dunk to regain the lead. On the next possession, Ohio State went inside again and Ravenel, averaging 6.3 points a game, bulled his way for another basket. After another Michigan missed shot, Thomas took a pass on the left baseline and made a quick spin to the end line before banking in a shot for a 52-46 lead. The Wolverines missed six straight field goal attempts down the stretch, going scoreless for more than 4 minutes until Burke hit two free throws with 1:37 left to cut the lead to 52-48. A steal and dunk by Robinson made it 52-50 with 1:16 left, setting up the potential tying shot by Burke, who grew up a rabid fan of the Buckeyes but wasnt recruited by coach Thad Matta because he already had Craft and was close to signing Scott to play point. "He got a heck of a look at it," Matta said of Burkes shot. The Buckeyes have been at their best against their worst opponents, and vice versa. They came into the game 12-0 vs. unranked teams and 0-3 against those in the Top 25. But after what even the players called an up-and-down season, they came up especially big against their most heated opponent. After Craft had discounted the possibility that the Buckeyes drew any extra incentive by wanting to prevent their archrivals from taking over the top spot in the polls, Ravenel spoke up. "Theres always satisfaction in denying Michigan the No. 1 spot in the country," he said with a wide grin. ' ' '

When, in 1951, the regulations changed and it became compulsory to obtain chronometer swiss watch replicas certification from an official body, Rolex went further and made sure its movements obtained swiss replica watches certificates bearing the citation “particularly good results.” This distinction gave rise Swiss Replica Watch to the famous phrase still inscribed on Rolex watch dials today: “Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified”. Since the creation of the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute) in 1973, special best replica watches citations are no longer given on the certificates. But the signature on Rolex dials is a reminder that since the early 20th century, Rolex has played a central role in the development of the modern precision watch.
